Built to the exact pattern of the drifts that I use in production hammer making, these drifts are designed to be used in a press or under a power hammer. Forged from H13 tool steel, offering the best performance you can get for this type of application. The handle portion is 1 1/4” round, and 1 1/5” round for the sledge drifts. I personally use these drifts with industrial style “V” bit tongs, such as the ones “Ballard Forge” produces.
