Forged from 1045 carbon steel with a custom 14 inch hickory handle. These are similar to what Brian Brazeal and Alec Steele forge. The round face is ground like a squashed ball, with the radius decreasing toward the edge of the face. The flat face has some nuanced crowning in a couple different ways to use it for flattening, chopping, and spreading. The flat face has a square grind, with the corners taken off.
